Patent No. US 6,528,474 B1: Henkel, Düsseldorf, Germany, was awarded a patent for producing a particulate, aluminosilicate-free detergent by spray-drying a slurry containing an anionic surfactant to create spray-dried basic granules. The granules are then mixed with an alkali metal salt to form a detergent component, which is sprayed with a liquid anionic surfactant acid....
